LINA MARGAITYTĖ is a Lithuanian cinematographer born in Vilnius, Lithuania.

 

Since her childhood, she was interested in writing stories and creating visual arts. In her young days, she was running around with her dad’s mobile phone recording videos and capturing the world around her. Time passed by and she discovered that making films is the best way to express her vision. She started shooting short narrative films with her friends which won awards in student film festivals in Lithuania and abroad.

 

In 2020 Lina graduated BA in Cinematography at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.

Now Lina Margaitytė together with cinematographer Marius Krivičius work as Lithuanian cinematographers duo on various short films, commercials, and music videos.
